Once Ohio legalized sports betting in December of 2021, JACK studied locations to add a Sportsbook to the JACK Thistledown Racino. The former Slush Bar was transformed into a first class Sportsbook with a large LED video wall that can be subdivided into multiple games at once, an Oddsboard behind the betting counter and two large banks of televisions to show all the action of live sports. The large LED video wall is faced by luxury recliners. Geometric patterned carpet contrasts the richly veined white stone with wood millwork and satin gold accents. A pyramid textured wall with signage backdrops betting kiosks and millwork ribbon color changing LEDs complete the space. The Sportsbook perimeter is defined by a serpentine scrolling ticker and carpet border. An open black ceiling means all eyes are on the games and custom color changing lighting.
